A haven to create joy and beauty in a way that is gentle and kind to the environment around us.

My studio is part of my everyday life and a way of living. It’s here I work though all of the many processes it takes to make one piece, from conceiving ideas and sketching them out to dyeing yarn and fleece, weaving and felting, stitching and finishing. Most of my resources are immediately at hand – the alpacas live in the adjoining field; my studio is adjacent to my house and the plants I use for dyeing are from the polytunnel or the garden.

Every finished piece has a unique story to tell; produced lovingly and sympathetically, exploring colour creation from natural resources together with age-old textile traditions so that they ultimately enrich you and your surroundings.
