A workshop led by Matthew Oates, naturalist, broadcaster, author and poet, who is the leading authority on the ecology of this elusive and majestic insect. A walk out into nearby Forestry Commission woodland to see the butterfly, and sessions on the literature inspired by this butterfly and on the significance of butterflies within contemporary culture.
Meet 9.30 at Lyveden New Bield car park (National Trust). Finish around 4.30 after tea and cakes.
