Charity Walk

Hello everyone

Please come and eat yummy cakes and tea on Sunday 25 August between 3pm and 6pm here at The Water Tower to help support a charity walk I’m doing. There will be a raffle, Pimms, and cards for sale as well as tea and homemade cakes.

I am going to be walking 40 miles for Action Medical Research and The Core Theatre in Corby charities on 14 September with three other people. I need all the support I can get! As many of you know I am a Trustee of The Core and believe passionately in what is been achieved there ( please see below about it).

It will be free to come to tea, but any donations will be well received, either through:

or cash/cheque on the day if you can come.

The Core at Corby Cube is North  Northamptonshire's arts venue with children, families and young people at the heart of its vision. In the last year over 15,000 local people - many of them young people in challenging circumstances - took part in Creative Projects with The Core. Our imagination, passion and dedication for creating life-changing and inspirational opportunities for local people is unlimited, but as a charity our resources are not. Your support of The Core's Rutland Plod team will enable us to reach more local young people with outstanding creative opportunities building confidence and skills.

RSVP by 16 August (so we have time to make enough cakes)

Best wishes
